This still life shows light passing through a cup of Turkish tea, reflecting off the submerged silver spoon with a brilliant red glow. It throws a waving line of deep glowing red-violet light onto the tabletop, and casts soft yellow, orange and pink light on the sugar cubes. There is a reflection of me in the glass. Can you find it? This picture was painted at age 15.
