In this painting of a barbecue sauce bottle, the labels are photographs that were cut out and glued on; the rest of the bottle is painted with watercolors. The text around the edges is a quote from my dad's American co-worker: "You guys used to live in France before you came here, right? Oh, Turkey? Aren't they all Muslims over there? Amazing how they can't afford shoes but they can all afford AK47s."
