Giclees (pronounced Gee’clays) are high-quality, archival printed reproductions of original artwork. A giclee cannot be printed with a standard desktop inkjet printer; these giclees are from a special printer that is larger and can print much finer detail. These giclees are not printed with brand-name light-fast inks, not ordinary printers' inks. The inks used to print these giclees are archival certified, and can last for a lifetime with proper treatment. All of the materials used to make these giclees meet and exceed the standards set forth by the Fine Art Trade Guild for pH and lightfastness. These giclees are matte, not shiny, and are printed on high quality archival cotton paper.
